With the deadly tornadoes in Oklahoma recently, and the Atlantic hurricane season just beginning, it’s always a good reminder to take inventory of your disaster preparedness plan. Hopefully, you have one for your family (what items to save, a central meeting place, etc.), but you should also have one for your business. If not, visit the Small Business Administration’s online Emergency Preparedness center. You’ll learn how to prepare in advance and how to apply for a disaster loan after the fact. The site also offers resources for recovery and getting your business back on its feet.
